Avet MXL 5.8 MC Star Drag Reels

The wide star drag with the MC frame, the one to take over the narrow MXJ star drag when you want a long mono topshot rather than heavier line. 620 yards of 50 lb, one ratio, and the magnet doing the cast control.

As on the narrow version, the side knob sets spool end play and nothing else. There is no shaft through the spool to tension, so the magnet is your only cast adjustment, worth knowing before you go looking for a knob that is not there.
