APIA Mayol 80S Sinking Minnow Lures
The APIA Mayol 80S is a compact sinking minnow built to do one thing better than most: get down to structure fast. Apia's boat-game ambassador designed it as a rapid-diving deep-diver. It knifes down toward its max ~2.5 m (about 8 ft) range the moment it lands, even on short close-range casts, then rises quickly on the pause to draw reaction strikes. It's a Japanese boat-seabass lure at heart; on our coast it's a sharp tool for working bay and harbor structure for spotted bay bass, sand bass, and calicos.
At 80 mm and 15 g it punches above its size thanks to a magnetic weight-transfer system that keeps it tracking straight and stall-free even at close range and around wind-swept structure, on baitcasting or spinning gear alike. The tight-pitch wobbling action keeps it working through a short retrieve window, and it comes armed with two #6 BKK Fangs trebles.
