The Ascender Jigging Reels take Accurate's most affordable star drag and set it up for working jigs. Every size comes with a long jigging crank arm and an oversized power knob, giving you leverage for the steady lift and drop of a jig and for turning a fish that wants to stay down. Accurate designed the series for slow pitch, speed jigging and traditional vertical jigging, from inshore structure out to lighter offshore drops.

There are three sizes, all right-hand retrieve with a 6:1 gear ratio. The 300 holds 300 yards of 30 lb braid and puts out 18 lb of max drag. The 500N and 600N are narrow-spool models: the 500N holds 350 yards of 50 lb braid with 22 lb of drag, and the 600N holds 475 yards of 65 lb braid with 24 lb of drag. A narrow spool makes it easier to lay line back on evenly with your thumb on every drop.

Weights run from 14 oz for the 300 to 18 oz for the 600N, light enough to work a jig all day. Accurate engineers the Ascender in the USA. It is manufactured overseas, and final assembly, inspection and quality control are done in the USA.
