Abu Garcia Revo SX VoltiQ Low Profile Reels

The Revo SX VoltiQ is the step-up in Abu Garcia's VoltiQ low-profile lineup, pairing the same electronic VoltiQ casting brake with a stiffer, tougher build. VoltiQ reads the spool's rotation and adjusts braking on the fly, so the reel is easy to tune across light and heavy baits alike and stays clean when conditions change — more time fishing, less time picking out overruns.

Where it separates from the standard X is the chassis and the internals. An X2-Cräftic alloy frame with C6 carbon sideplates keeps the reel rigid and durable while holding weight down, ten bearings (nine stainless ball bearings plus a roller) smooth out the retrieve, and the Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag lays down a stout 25 lb — real extra muscle over the X. The Duragear Gen II gear system is built to keep that power turning season after season. Pair the deeper line capacity with that drag and it's a natural for anglers who lean on a baitcaster hard, including SoCal inshore crossover work on bay bass and calicos.
