Yamaga Blanks Blue Current 86 All Range Elite Surf Rods

The 86 Elite is a redesigned Blue Current series rod featuring a more responsive and higher recoil blank for ease of casting and sensitivity. With a 3-21g casting range it is very versatile for a variety of fishing styles, including shore jigging, using smaller hard baits for surf and inshore applications, dropshot and more. They've upgraded to a new Fuji TCH carbon fiber and titanium reel seat along with a full Fuji Titanium Torzite guide set to bring the weight down and make this rod feel feather light and sensitive. 

The casting feel will be a bit different from other models due to the higher recoil which will support a more aggressive quick cast with certain types of lures. These rods are best paired with lighter 2500-3000 size spinning reels using 4-10lb braid for the best performance.
