The material has been tweaked to provide a bit more abrasion resistance and knot strength, this makes the surface a bit harder which is great when tying knots with rougher braid that can cut into a leader. The spools have been simplified to a single length option that is dependent on the line test, the 12-50lb lines come in 50 meter spools and the 60-100lb tests come in 30 meters spools which is plenty for any leader applications.
