Daiwa Ryoga Round Baitcasting Reels 2026
The new Ryoga builds on the last generation from 2018, improving the overall durability and longevity of the reel with new bearings, a redesigned main gear and pinion with larger teeth and a strengthened reel foot. The fit and finish is just as good as we expect from Daiwa's high end offerings, you feel almost nothing while turning the handle without losing any of the robust and overbuilt nature of the reel.
The 100 size is perfect for a wide variety of fishing styles, the SV spool helps these cast smaller lures for finesse applications like dropshotting, ned rigs and weightless creature baits. The 150 size meanwhile is great for larger swimbaits and glide baits, giving you enough capacity to run straight fluoro or heavier braid along with a bigger set of handles.
