D-Claw Beacon Neo 200 TG Slim Poppers

The D-Claw Beacon Neo 200 is a Japanese-made slim floating popper built for offshore casting on big pelagics. At 200mm and 75g it carries a full tungsten weight, the "TG", cast in and locked to a spot-welded through-wire, so it loads the rod and bombs long casts while staying tough enough to stand up to real fish. At rest it floats nose-up, nearly vertical, sitting ready to spit and pop on the very first sweep.

D-Claw built the Beacon around clean, error-free action. In a chop, on a following sea, or on a hard rip of the rod, the slim ABS body tracks true instead of blowing out, throwing a big splash-and-pop that calls fish up from a long way off. It's a tuna-focused design that's put up strong numbers on yellowfin, and it's just as at home on yellowtail, hiramasa and amberjack, dorado, and GT, anything that comes up for a surface popper offshore.

It comes without hooks so you can match your hardware to the fish and the conditions. D-Claw recommends 3/0 or 4/0 trebles or 5-8g single hooks, fine-tuned with split rings to suit the tide and current.
