Avet HXJ Raptor Plus 5/2 Non-MC Two Speed Reels

The new HXJ Raptor Plus models feature the larger power handle that is standard on all of the larger EX/TRX reels. The frames have been redesigned to be more ergonomic for casting and jigging, while the internals remain largely unchanged from the original Raptor models which still lead the pack in drag output.

The narrow spool of the HXJ is great for jigging, both for vertical jigs and yoyo irons. It's also a great reel to choose when you're using a heavy dropper loop or sinker rig setup. These work are perfect tug of war reels in shallow water since they'll have enough power to pull big grouper, yellowtail, amberjack and snapper away from structure.
