This SX is a sweet 10-25lb reel, the drag on this small size is 9lbs at strike and 14lbs in full which won't stop any huge tuna but it's plenty for local fishing for sculpin, sand bass, calico bass and will even do great for halibut and yellowtail. On the east coast it also makes for a great fluke or tog reel. These models feature the MC cast control which makes them great for casting small jigs, irons, and hard baits.
